Hank Manley left the department in 1978 and has had 3 careers since then! He first received an MPA degree from NYU and began an eleven year career as an administrator specializing
in human resources and labor relations. He served in those capacities at Albert Einstein Hospital, Montefiore Medical Center, Harlem Hospital, NYC Transit Authority as Director Of Employee Health Services and
Riverbay Corp.(Coop City).
In 1990 he and his wife began his next career with their own computer Software company and was a subcontractor to several companies including Kaiser Engineers, Booz-Allen, Parsons
Brinkerhoff and a consultant to the Federal Transportation Agency (FTA) of which his last consultant job in 1999 was a triennial review of “The Bus Transportation” in Hawaii..
He then began teaching computer science in 2000 and expects to retire with cumulative Tier 1 time from December 1965, a total of 33 years! He currently teaches
with the Yonkers Public School system at Roosevelt High School in Yonkers.
